Fundamental Belief's Of Word & Spirit
We Believe...
- We believe in only one God (Deut 6:4) and that He dwelt in the flesh of Jesus Christ (1 Tim 3:16).
- We believe that for a person to be saved (by grace), that they must repent of their sins, be water baptized by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of their sins; receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the initial evidence (sign) of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance (Mark 16:16-17; Acts 2:1-4; 38).
- We believe that one must live a life of holiness (inside and outside); free from worldliness in their conduct, speech, appearance and to be holy in their hearts. For without holiness, no man shall see the Lord (Heb 12:14).
- We believe in the “catching away of the saints” and the resurrection of the dead in Christ.
- We believe in only two eternal destinations; Lake of fire for sinners; and Heaven for the saved.

While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
